Create dynamic in-store video content promoting Ashley’s fall product collection across all retail locations. The challenge: showcase the entire fall SKU selection while elevating Ashley’s brand aesthetic with a fresh visual identity, new typography, and engaging infographics. Deliver two distinct versions (infographic-heavy and footage-focused) in both horizontal and vertical formats for varied in-store display requirements.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

Warm, cozy fall aesthetic that elevates Ashley’s brand presence while introducing a refreshed visual identity. The design needed to feel inviting and seasonal without sacrificing sophistication—creating an emotional connection to home during the fall season.

THE PROCESS

Conceptualization & Planning:
Developed storyboard in Adobe XD mapping out product showcase sequence, infographic moments, and pacing for silent in-store playback.

Design & Layout Strategy:
Created custom infographic templates to efficiently display multiple SKUs simultaneously while maintaining visual hierarchy and brand consistency. Designed animations to add life and movement to static product cutouts.

Workflow:

Storyboarding: Mapped sequence and product flow in Adobe XD.

Asset Preparation: Organized product footage and SKU cutouts from creative team.

Layout Design: Developed infographic systems and lower third treatments.

Animation: Built product animations and transitions in After Effects.

Multi-Format Production: Adapted horizontal edit into vertical format for different display requirements.

Version Control: Created two distinct visual approaches (infographic vs. footage-focused) from same content.

Technical Considerations:
Silent playback for in-store environment required visual storytelling to carry full narrative weight. Designed for loop-ability and varied screen orientations across retail locations.
