PROJECT TYPE
Personal R&D / Character Study
THE CONCEPT
To challenge the limits of AI character consistency, I created a “Pixar-style” animated short documenting a day in the life of a digital motion designer. The goal was to train an AI model on my own likeness and maintain visual consistency across varied scenes, lighting conditions, and activities.
THE NARRATIVE
A relatable, humorous look at the creative process of a motion designer: from the morning coffee ritual to the late-night editing grind (and the inevitable desk nap).
THE CONCEPT
TECHNICAL CHALLENGE
The biggest hurdle in AI video is temporal and character consistency. Generative models often “morph” faces between frames.
My Solution: I utilized specific prompting techniques and seed consistency to ensure the “pixel avatar” looked like me in every shot—whether I was drawing, editing, or sleeping. This project demonstrates control over style transfer (3D Animation Style) while retaining specific subject identity.
